My Ag Show app for iPhone and iPad

The My Ag Show app has been developed on behalf of The Queensland Chamber of Agricultural Societies (QCAS) which consists of 129 affiliated Agricultural/Show Societies. These Societies range in size and are situated from the Gold Coast in the South to Cooktown in the North and West to Mount Isa in Queensland, Australia.


The My Ag Show app would like to introduce you to the world of Beacon technology which is available at participating Agricultural Shows throughout Queensland.

Beacons are small, wireless devices that allow you to receive promotional messages and relevant information directly to your smartphone. Using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) or Bluetooth SMART technology, beacons will interact with the My Ag Show app to send notifications and alerts that are relevant to your location at your local Show.

For example, a beacon might be placed near the entrance to your local show in Queensland. When you download the My Ag Show app and come within the beacon’s range, you receive a notification to help you easily navigate the Showgrounds, access special content and offers and receive reminders and alerts about the events you want to see – right to your smartphone.
